Using different signatures for ICMEs identification such as He++ abundance enhancement, low ion temperature, low velocity, and anomalies of abundance and charge state of heavy ion species, we carry out an analysis of the 24 August 2001 ICME, detected by Ulysses (SWOOPS and SWICS data).
